I like very small patterns and this was too large of coloring spaces. I don't want to use a paint brush to color.

My daughter is very sensitive to quality and form (autism). She let me know that these mandalas are balanced, the thickness of paper is perfect, and being able to lay the pages flat is the right way to do it. She finished book 1, is working on book 2, and I am sure I will be ordering book 3 shortly! I only hope she doesn't work through the whole series too quickly!

I bought the gel pens and are learning how to use them. I like the vibrant colors although some are much darker than I would like.

The creative coloring process and gazing at the final mandala image cultivates inner peace and joy! These beautiful mandalas contain varying degrees of detail. The more simplistic patterns can easily be made more intricate. My Prismacolor pencils loved the texture and thickness of the good quality paper, and blending was fabulous! If you could use more inner peace, clarity and fun in your day, then give these beauties a try!

Love the intricacy of the designs as well as the thickness of the paper. I’m using Paper Mate gel pens, Micro fine liners, and Graphix permanent markers without bleed through.

This is everything they say it will be. The pages are thick and my gel pens don’t bleed through. The areas to color are small to medium which I like.

Paper is really sturdy. Not to intricate not too simple.

The patterns are lovely if you can get past the numerous printing errors. Extra lines where they shouldn’t be, shapes in front of others in one place and behind in another, etc. It drives me a little batty but I can usually disguise it with dark colors or similar.

I love the Color it's Mandela collection. Perfect paper quality- thick, no double sided, won't bleed through. The designs are great as well! My favorite adult coloring book line!

Nice heavy weight paper with beautiful designs. Each with there own personal touch. Gives the artist choice and inspiration. I even did one all grey tones. I use felt markers, gel pens with glitter, gel pen neon colors and gel pen metallic. No pencils because of my arthritis. Each one is individual art piece. I give them away after I'm done.

I ordered two, one for my daughter & one for myself. The paper is fairly hefty. There's a blot protection sheet for in between pages so your current project will have less of a chance to ruin the next page waiting for your creativity. Upon some careful inspection some of the pages have defects.. minor defects in the printing, not real noticable & if you're not OCD you will have a hard time seeing them so not a real deal breaker. I also love LOVE the top spiral binding 🥰, both my daughter and I are left handed & frankly the struggle is real for us & traditional bound books.There are three or four 🤔(?)more books in the mandala series which I will be buying two of each of them for my daughter and I.

This is my second purchase of “Color It” brand coloring books. The paper stock is the best quality I’ve found. These will be nice to frame. The mandalas in these are beautiful but aren’t as intricate as I like, but that’s my fault I should’ve read the description better. These make great gifts and were well received. I will continue to buy this brand.

I’ve got a TON of coloring books and this is definitely one of my favorites. Paper doesn’t bleed, it’s thick, and the spiral up top helps so much :)

I love only Mandalas Book from Volume 1 to 8. But not yet to make color pen because i have a lots of busy in my home

I absolutely love the color it coloring books except for dreamland. I was very disappointed in this book. There are only about 10 or 15 pictures and I'm gonna color out of 50. I ripped out most of the pictures that I'm not gonna color and throw them away. I just wanted to leave this review in case anyone is thinking about ordering it. 2nd guess yourself

Gorgeous Spiral Bound Book. Beautiful, meditative, hand-drawn images. Excellent Quality Paper. A Joy to Color! Buy the best and biggest tin of color pencils you can afford. You'll want lots of choices for coloring on this thick, smooth, quality paper. It's addictive. Finished pieces really are frame-able.Wish I could find more by this artist. All mandala books are not as beautiful as this one.

I was blown away hot great these look, and the variety in the book. That paper quality is top notch and you don't get bleed thru. Would highly recommend this brand. Also very calming way to unwind

The paper is not the same quality as it has been in the past, seems waxy and colors don’t stay well, they also bleed.

I am writing this only because I like to keep all the pages in the book...colored or uncolored. I colored on the first page and the perforation came apart. Next one same thing. I have colored 3 color it books and this is the first book this has happened to. Now what....must I tape it to keep it together? For this price the pages should stay in the book unless you want to tear them out. Other then this yes the designs, paper quality are great.

A lot of these are pretty simple but I tell you Sometimes it drives me a little batty

I love the designs in this book, and the fact that they're hand-drawn helps me relax on being perfect in my coloring. The paper is excellent quality, and I really like the spiral binding at the top--perfect for using the gel pens that I also purchased.

I like it I just start coloring in it

Just started it and I love it, this is going to be so much fun. I'm a newbie, never did an adult coloring book and certainly never colored a mandala but so far so good! I bought this one because it said it was thick paper but mainly for the fact that I can just flip over the spiral binding instead of being annoyed by having to fold back the page I'm coloring. BTW, I spent WAY too much time looking for a book to start - let me save you some trouble just get this version. I compared all of the versions they have and this is a good place to start if you're new at it.

You can see in the first two pictures how there are some inconsistencies in the drawings. Sometimes lines dont meet where they should. There are other issues here and there that bother me, and will probably bother others. I wish they had reviewed these closer before publishing. It makes me feel like the designs were rushed. Another thing is that the designs are mostly bland and repetitive, perhaps thats not a bad thing for some. I wish there were more unique and interesting designs. The book is very high quality with thick paper and sturdy spiral binding.

This is easily one of my top coloring books. The thick paper makes it versatile for different mediums without it bleeding. I love how the binding is at the top too so it doesn’t become in the way.

I'm a 25 year old adult who enjoys coloring Mandelas so I wanted to get this book. The pages are thick so it's high quality. It has lots of designs so you have plenty to choose from and color in. The book has a hard binding so you can color wherever you're at. I really love this.

I already own this book and am buying it again for a friend because I like it so much. I'm disappointed that it still hasn't arrived and I keep getting a notice that I can cancel if I wish.

I have finished coloring two of the pages so far (using the colorit 60 set of markers). The paper quality seems good and I like that the drawings are one-sided. I have not needed to use the blotter sheet because the color doesn't seem to bleed through with basic use. I would recommend it overall

Paper isn’t good for markers, as it’s not porous enough. Some pages had ink streaks, but mostly I didn’t like all the heavy black ink (some areas are even colored in with black ink). The company has admitted to using “review companies” to get good reviews, so buyer beware.

What I love about this coloring book:1. Spiral binding at the top so there no interference with the picture.2. There a variety of detailed mandelas so you don't feel like you are coloring the same thing over and over.3. The paper and cover quality are excellent.4. It comes with an extra sheet to place between pages to protect the next page.5. Perforated pages that tear out easily.I had shoulder surgery so for the last 6 weeks I needed something I could do one handed, so I got this book. A few days ago I finished it and ordered their second mandela book. I just started it and am loving that just as much.
