Horsing Around

Majestic, strong, and beautiful. These are just a few words to describe one of man’s most loyal companions--the horse! Everyday, horses are a gift to us in many ways, and we tend to overlook how they play an important role in our environment as well!

Horses are grazers by heart and are known to be nature’s healers. Wherever they graze, they help the ecosystem flourish by preventing overgrazing and in effect erosions. They assist in pollinating many plants, and keeping the ecosystem healthy with their manure, which provides powerful nutrients to the soil to promote vegetation.

Horses aren’t just majestic and fun to watch and ride, they actually play an important role in the circle of life. We’re lucky to call them one of our most loyal companions, having them help our finite planet stay balanced by simply being themselves!
