Empowered women empower women.
Focused, intelligent, motivated, and oh--chic! Who says you can’t look good while working hard?
The working woman’s fashion has truly evolved since 100 years ago, when the suffragette movement began! In 1925, the iconic Coco Chanel liberated women from restricting corsets with her menswear-inspired, cardigan-style jackets. “I gave them real arms, real legs, movements that were authentic and the possibility to laugh and eat without, necessarily, having to faint," she said.
This birthed the concept of ‘casual chic’, and became popular just as the 19th Amendment-- guaranteeing women the right to vote--was ratified.
Today, this casual-chic, cardigan-style jacket is now known as the blazer. Transcending time, the blazer has allowed women to strut their style and exude power and confidence by throwing on many variations of the blazer, paired with jeans, skirts, and many other pieces!
