It took me a while to come around to Steampunk, but if you like to color and you want just one Steampunk coloring book, this one is IT! Every page is a fabulous design. I love to color designs with clear lines, closed spaces, borders, stylized themes, illustration quality. This is it. Beautiful, strong backboard, rings at the top, thick paper. One of the most top quality books I have and my instant new favorite. I don't know how I missed this one, but I'm sure glad I have it now. Well worth the price.

I purchased this book a while back and haven’t been able to play with it until recently. These books by color are beautiful. The paper is heavy and great for all medias. I work with inks and acrylics. I also use paint pins and gray sets for shadowing and although I can be heavy-handed at times this paper, took it all like a champ. I look forward to coloring more and collecting a few of the other books in the series, there’s not any cons with this book as it is detailed enough for expert colors, but also not overly detailed that beginners would be detoured. Definitely worth the purchase.

This was purchased for someone for adult coloring, who is in a rehabilitation facility. It is loved by many who saw this.

Great pictures, wonderful paper

I havent used them yet when I received them I was in the middle of moving so I just had to pack them. Im still not in a permanent situation. As soon as I get settled I would probably give you a better review

I didn’t have any expectations when my coloring book arrived because I had never ordered before. The drawings were unique. They were varied in nature. The quality of the paper is remarkable. I haven’t begun to work on the book, but I am excited to do it so. What more do I need to say?

This is a fabulous coloring book depicting the steam punk style. Lots of room for color creativity. Complicated though rather than leisurely. Nice spiral top binding and weighty paper. Could stand up to felt pens.

I color for relaxation and just plain fun. I love all the Color-It books but this might be my favorite so far. Will definitely buy more Color It books. I plan on buying for Christmas gifts as well.

Great pictures on a nice heavy paper. It has some Steampunk in every picture, but also some elements that are not. Nice variety.

This is my favorite colorit book. This is the second one I've ordered. The drawings are so much fun to color. I use pencils and gel pens, both work great on the paper.

Colorit coloring books are now the only books I want! I neglect my coloring books from other publishers. This is because Colorit has the best quality paper, perforated edges, and are spiral bound. All these things make it sooo much easier to color.Colorit books can be used with any medium. These are the best for coloring with markers. Colored pencils and gel pens work good also. Steampunk is a beautiful, unique coloring book. The drawings are high quality.

This is my first Colorit coloring book. It is well made and has great pictures to boot. I will trying other books in this series. Buy one and enjoy yourself.

This was my first “Colorit” coloring book, and I’m very very pleased with it!I LOVE the flip top, it really makes it easy to move your hand and the book around to color the picture.The paper is really sturdy, thick (at least a 40 lb) and handles markers, gel pens and pencil crayons wonderfully!The steampunk drawings are all unique, detailed, fun and easy to color.I will be looking at more of this brand coloring books to buy.

It’s fun and very nice to use the paper is nice and thick holds up to even light watercolor paints now I do mean light I haven’t tried a real wash, no need. But it takes markers ink pens the lot. It will last me a long time as the book is full of beautiful line art ready to color. Going to buy more.

These books are great quality. The pages are heavy and the color doesn't bleed through no matter what you are using to color. I have a lot of these, shipping is fast and they are well worth the cost.

Love the hard cover. Love the spiral binding, love the fun illustrations in this book. Have many of the company's books at this one is definately a fave!

I love the concept but the part I do not like is that some of the designs are too busy with too many black lines. I have found this to be true in all of the other books I have purchased. I have purchased two of the quilting book and wish you would make a 2nd edition.

I only gave this three stars because the drawing are not 8 x 10 when finished. You have to trim them and lose some of the drawing. That being said the drawings are beautiful if a little heavy on women and fashion.

Love my Steampunk coloring book. After a steady diet of flowers, landscapes, birds and other nature topics, well Steampunk changed my coloring world. Fantastic drawings, very realistic. Each art piece is a treat to paint.

I love all of Colorits books, they're made with heavy cardstock, and the pictures are beautifully done. Being spiral bound is great for left handed or right handed people. The only thing I didn't like is the slickness of the paper, my colored pencils don't react well on smooth paper, so just be mindful that colored pencils may not be the best choice for coloring in these books. But all in all, it's a great product.

Love all the ColorIt Coloring Books. Paper is nice and thick so you can layer and blend colors without bleeding through. I am spoiled now and will only buy coloring books from ColorIt. This book has REALLY FUN images to color. Many of the drawings in this book have tiny detailed spaces. I learned that Gelly Roll pens are actually too juicy for the tiny spaces and end up bleeding over the black lines. ColorIt pens are the perfect consistency so you can be more precise and stay in the lines for a cleaner look. I also wish I stayed within one color pallette for the Birds because now they don't stand out from the Clocks and Gears around them. A learning experience for sure! Looks like this book is currently unavailable... hope it returns so more people get to enjoy it like I am.

The paper these images are printed on is heavyweight. Images are gorgeous. Very worth the price.

Nice sturdy paper that’s great to color on with pencils or marker. Spiraled and perforated for easy coloring and ability to frame. Awesome detail in pictures. I recommend.

I’m a huge fan of Steampunk. I was very excited to find this coloring book! Not only is the paper quality amazingly thick but it’s one picture per page. I don’t recommend using colored pencils for these pictures. It doesn’t come out right. I’m unable to blend colors very well. It still looks ok but not what I like. It did however encourage me to buy markers and works ten times better!

I cannot recommend all of the Colorit colouring books highly enough. They are extremely sturdy, the paper is amazing and the images are gorgeous. These books are simply the best. I am a repeat buyer and have also gifted these books. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I will probably just buy Colorit products from now on. The pictures are from the steam punk book it’s my favorite. You can’t go wrong, the paper is card stock and perforated so you can tear it out.

I love the pages of this book it gives so much scope for imagination and hours of relaxation. There are beautiful designs.

So many little, intricate details! I could never finish a page in one night. Usually took around 2 or 3 nights to complete. So very worth it. Every second I spent. I am about to purchase all over again just so I can re-do the ones I messed up on and also try out some of the other pages that I’ve completed with different styles. I suggest getting metallic pens & markers for this particular book. Steam punk = metallic. It looks so so good. I’m just obsessed with this one. I just ordered colorits Fairy book but it looks like it’s for young kids. Big open sections. No intricate details. I’m sad over that. 😭 I’ll keep searching for something that is up to par with this one!

I was surprised to see the book had so many intricate drawings. This was disappointing because I love coloring but, I’m unable to do the tiny drawings.

I love the art! Finally, a steampunk book that's more than just portraits of pouty-mouthed, fashion plate bimbos. One of the things I've discovered since starting to color again is that I don't enjoy coloring portraits of people. The bird house, tree house, the phonograph, the map and desk implements, clocks, traveling cases, and so much more. It's actually hard for me to pick a favorite, even though I'm not a huge fan of very intricate images, especially of the Zentangle-inspired variety. And a few are a little zen doodly for my taste. I think my favorite image is the dapper cat. The obligatory frog, octopus, and rhino are included, of course. That's ok, even if more animals that would be less stereotypical would have been more pleasant. My issue with this book is that the toner comes off the smooth pages, even with light pressure with a manual eraser. Don't even think about using a battery powered eraser. An acquaintance thumbed through the book yesterday and pointed out that the lines on some of the uncolored pages are lifting in some places. If I wanted to put with toner flaking away, I'd print more images with my lame laser printer. The first image I colored using Prismacolor Premier pencils, and they smudged easily. To a much greater degree than I'm used to seeing. I'm no longer very heavy-handed, either. Even wearing an artist's glove didn't help very much. I'd have color saturation built up to my liking, and it seemed to rub away. Even using oil-based pencils didn't totally stop the issue. And by their very nature, oil-based colored pencils usually stay where they're placed. Given how many people in the adult coloring community rave about the paper in this publisher's books, I'm really disappointed with the book. $20 is just too much money for me to spend per book. I don't think I'll be spending more money on ColorIt books. I can pick up very nice books starting at $5 to well under $20 that don't have these issues. I don't have enough space to have a collection that contains a lot of books, so I have to choose wisely. That makes me sad, because there might be a sequel to this some day.

I used both markers and colored pencils and the color quality is great. My markers didn't bleed to the next page which is often a problem, even with them being the more costly brad. My pencils went down smooth. And they are the cheap ones. Can't wait till I get my artist grade pencils. The artwork is a pleasure to work with. Also being a lefty. It's great being able to get to all the areas of the page.

A lot of pages that are nice and thick for the price it’s a great buy

Great book for the money. Pictures are fun and exciting to do. Your imagination and you can literally go crazy with this book. Great purchase ,great gift for crafters.

The illustrations are so fun and unique, providing lots of new content as well as more opportunities for personal style and textures. But the two biggest wins: 1. The quality of the paper; it's thick and just the right texture for laying down a good amount of pigment while still letting you blend and burnish. 2. The top coil binding vs. book saddle stitch (folded, side-staple)! Book lays all the way open, and pages are a flat surface. No artwork fading down into the fold. I'll say the only drawback (and it's a small one) is that I'm going through my browns and gray pencils a bit quicker given all the gears, straps, and industrial dials. I just need to not be so literal in my color choices, I guess! Love this publisher and will look for more in this style.

Perfect for the adult colorists!

This was my first time doing anything in the steampunk genre and I was confused to say the least. But I jumped in and came to like it. Of course the Colorit books are awesome as always.

Dislike the paper is to slick, no tooth. Very tiny spaces to color, can't use dual brush Tombow. Bleeds thru and streaks the coloring. Sharpie bleeds thru, black Widow colored pencils work okay can't blend. I used water color, colored pencils, Alcohol based markers worked the best on slick paper. I thought I found a coloring book for me, but am disappointed, I will try for refund.

A student and unique design for those looking for out of the coloring. It was a little difficult up blend alcohol based markers though.

Good paper to work on. imaginative for me. It would be a great gift for someone who is into steam puck.

The drawings were very nice and I enjoyed coloring them. My personal preference would be for more pictures of steampunk people and fewer pictures showing artifacts alone. However, I liked the book well enough and enjoyed the coloring.
