Eerie Enchantment: Fairytale Origins Coloring Book for Adults

My sister enjoys coloring to relieve stress. I bought this as a Christmas present for her! It's upscale version of the typical coloring book for adults.

These coloring books have a wide selection of illustrations The paper is thick and markers/ pens, don't bleed through. I have ordered some of the books a second time.

The paper is of very good quality and the outlines are light (not dark or too thick). For me, the best part of this coloring book are the variety of images. I will never get tired of coloring these pictures.

It's not easy getting water color refills. I still can't figure out how to order just the colors I need for refill. Other than that, the quality is good.

It took me a while to come around to Steampunk, but if you like to color and you want just one Steampunk coloring book, this one is IT! Every page is a fabulous design. I love to color designs with clear lines, closed spaces, borders, stylized themes, illustration quality. This is it. Beautiful, strong backboard, rings at the top, thick paper. One of the most top quality books I have and my instant new favorite. I don't know how I missed this one, but I'm sure glad I have it now. Well worth the price.

I purchased this book a while back and haven’t been able to play with it until recently. These books by color are beautiful. The paper is heavy and great for all medias. I work with inks and acrylics. I also use paint pins and gray sets for shadowing and although I can be heavy-handed at times this paper, took it all like a champ. I look forward to coloring more and collecting a few of the other books in the series, there’s not any cons with this book as it is detailed enough for expert colors, but also not overly detailed that beginners would be detoured. Definitely worth the purchase.

Why do people buy this book and then give poor ratings based on the topic?????? The title clearly describes what the content of the book is about, "fairytales", yet people buy it and then give poor ratings because the book contains images about the topic of Fairytales, which the "title" clearly describes. They know what they are purchasing, yet they buy, and then complain and write negative reviews!!!!!

This was purchased for someone for adult coloring, who is in a rehabilitation facility. It is loved by many who saw this.

I have really enjoyed the challenge of Hasby Mumarock's books that I have received. Being an artist myself, I find his works and the Goddess coloring book stimulating to my artistic eye. They are very sophisticated and way beyond kids coloring books.

I own several Color It coloring books and really enjoy them all. I was definitely not disappointed when I received Eerie Enchantment. The quality of the paper is great as is the artwork. I thoroughly enjoyed coloring each and every fairytale and it brought me right back to when I was a child, hearing my parent's voice streaming the essence of each captivating story. Please know however that some of these fairytales are not for the faint of heart and some end in a somewhat violent manner. For instance, Pinocchio was hung on a tree branch. Also the fairytale The Juniper Tree is a book about someone killing someone, then feeding their body to a family member. The illustration just shows a woman burying bones in her backyard near a Juniper Tree. It can look harmless but if you know the actual story then you will know some of the stories do not end well. Other then that I loved this coloring book and I will continue to purchase Color It books.

I was so eager to get this for Christmas! I’m in love with it. The pictures are beautiful. There’s an index of the pages and their culture as well. All of the pages are pretty different. Overall, I love it! It’s a spiral book, the pages are decently thick, and it’s perforated. (The second photo is dark due to lighting).

Awesome pictures. Having one picture per page is such a plus so you don't worry about bleed through on another picture. Paper is solid. Love the artwork.

I purchased several adult coloring books from Colorit and I as so impressed by each of them. The quality of the paper they use in the books is absolutely amazing, super high quality paper. I am also very happy with the images, they are detailed and extremely artistic. I am definitely going to be purchasing more coloring books from Colorit. I highly recommended these books. I love this coloring book and I actually familiar with several of the Fairy Tales depicted in this book. My favorite one is the Little Red Riding Hood picture. I was surprised with the one of La Llorona and it's really spooky that wonderfully depicts the haunting story of this spooky ghost. I'm so looking forward to seeing what's next from Colorit and ordering my next Colorit coloring books.

Nice spiral . Paper is really smooth. Haven’t colored in it yet . I don’t care for story book fairy tales . But that’s just me other than that it’s a nice coloring book .

I LOVE the ColorIt collections and own most of them. I was very excited about this book in particular but was disappointed. I didn’t really know most of the fairy tales that were illustrated without googling them which really killed the vibe. Could have been better.

This is a fabulous coloring book depicting the steam punk style. Lots of room for color creativity. Complicated though rather than leisurely. Nice spiral top binding and weighty paper. Could stand up to felt pens.

I loved all the detail in this book.

I am pretty new to Colorit and I am just so glad that I took the plunge and ordered some of these gorgeous colouring books. I have several of them now and this one has become my favourite. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and so detailed. They really bring back memories of stories from my childhood. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed with at first was that the paper has a very smooth surface, which is a lot better suited to markers and pens than coloured pencils and I am most comfortable using coloured pencils. I coloured my first picture with Prismacolor pencils and I struggled a bit getting them to lay down as well as I knew they could, My finished picture looked very waxy and crayon-like, which I wasn't used to. Since then I have coloured a second picture (in the Timeless Treasures book) using CastleArt Gold (oil based) coloured pencils. I enjoyed using them so much more on this paper and am a lot happier with the results. So, I'm VERY happy now that I know I can use coloured pencils in these amazing books! They are a total joy!

I love these books! The spiral binding, the paper, and the artwork! And this book is no different! I've started the snowwhite page and I'm using luminance pencils, the blending is like melted butter! I also have a WIP going in the fantasy one, with faber castell pitt pens (water based markers) and they blend and work beautifully as well with the paper! Such beautiful books! Definitely recommend these books! I have 6 of them and will be getting more!

I love these coloring books. I found this book from coloring in the Collection of 50 favorite color it designs. I had to get the Steampunk book

I color for relaxation and just plain fun. I love all the Color-It books but this might be my favorite so far. Will definitely buy more Color It books. I plan on buying for Christmas gifts as well.

This coloring is very nice. The pictures are printed on heavy paper and they are perforated.

Overall, best coloring book by far. If I had two requests it would be to not have the lines go to the page ends (hate coloring those spots, prefer a border) and slightly more space for the details. I have both gel pens and pencils and feel that with some of these designs, I don’t have enough space to color since it’s so small. Overall love the quality and designs though! Definitely buy the brand!

My husband bought this for me to help relax (Drs. Order) it's very cute. Many steampunk options. Works well with both pen or pencil. Love the top spiral, less in the way

Great pictures on a nice heavy paper. It has some Steampunk in every picture, but also some elements that are not. Nice variety.

This is my favorite colorit book. This is the second one I've ordered. The drawings are so much fun to color. I use pencils and gel pens, both work great on the paper.

I purchased this for my granddaughter’s birthday, she really loves it!

Looks great. I liked that it was shrinkwrapped to keep it somewhat protected inside box that included other items, too.

I made copies. Colored those and put in junk journal as craft paperawesome

Colorit coloring books are now the only books I want! I neglect my coloring books from other publishers. This is because Colorit has the best quality paper, perforated edges, and are spiral bound. All these things make it sooo much easier to color.Colorit books can be used with any medium. These are the best for coloring with markers. Colored pencils and gel pens work good also. Steampunk is a beautiful, unique coloring book. The drawings are high quality.

This is my first Colorit coloring book. It is well made and has great pictures to boot. I will trying other books in this series. Buy one and enjoy yourself.

I hope they have a second goddess book. Even my adult daughter's and grandchildren love these books. They have stolen a few of mine. They are great for adults and some children. I purchased this when it was on sale for black friday and I'm really glad I did. It's one of my favorite coloring books. There is a wide variety of beautiful pictures to choose from and they tear out at the top very easily. They are one sided on good quality paper. I am very happy with this purchase.

This was my first “Colorit” coloring book, and I’m very very pleased with it!I LOVE the flip top, it really makes it easy to move your hand and the book around to color the picture.The paper is really sturdy, thick (at least a 40 lb) and handles markers, gel pens and pencil crayons wonderfully!The steampunk drawings are all unique, detailed, fun and easy to color.I will be looking at more of this brand coloring books to buy.

It’s fun and very nice to use the paper is nice and thick holds up to even light watercolor paints now I do mean light I haven’t tried a real wash, no need. But it takes markers ink pens the lot. It will last me a long time as the book is full of beautiful line art ready to color. Going to buy more.

Ok. I love ColorIt’s books because the art is usually awesome, the paper quality is excellent and the books are spiral bound to boot. I also am a “Heathen,” meaning I follow the Old Norse religion - gods like Odin, Thor and Loki (who are real and not invented by Marvel!). So I saw this book of goddesses and I had to have it.First of all, I love the artwork. It’s not super intricate, but tricky enough to make each page a challenge. I also adore the fact that they really did some homework to dig up some of these goddesses. I get a little bit extra from looking up each goddess that I’m not familiar with to find out their stories. And I’m super happy that there are, indeed, several Norse ladies included in the pages.So, yeah, I’m totally in love with this book and I’m not interested in any of my other coloring books right now. I highly recommend this to coloring fans, alternative religion enthusiasts and anybody that just loves to zone out and color.
