March 2020 Fan of the Month Winners

This March, we woke up to a dramatically different world. Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizers have become the new normal. And although spring has come, we haven’t got the luxury to enjoy a walk in the park and smell the roses.

As we ride out this pandemic, we hope that you stay resilient and happy. We hope that through our March FOTM contest we inspired you to color and helped you remain positive in these uncertain times.

For our March Fan of the Month challenge, we asked our beloved Colorettes and Color Studs to color in their favorite ColorIt coloring page using our Watercolor Brush Pens 🖊️and upload it here.

At the end of the month, the ColorIt team will choose three (3) submissions based on the set criteria and three (3) more random picks to keep things fun.

The 6 talented winners will then receive a $25 gift card from ColorIt. You can even double your prize amount if you color the page using any of our coloring mediums.

Excited to know who made it to our list this month? Get to know our Fan of the Month winners with our exclusive interviews below:

March Fan of the Month Winner: Sandy Waskow

When did you first pick up a coloring book?

In June 2017, I had a knee replacement done, and the Dr suggested that I do something to keep my mind off the pain, so I took up coloring.

Describe your perfect coloring atmosphere.

My perfect atmosphere is late at night when it's quite.

Tell us about your creative process when you get ready to color.

I don't really have a creative way to color, but I picture in my head what it would look like. And, I was trying out my first time the watercolors.

How has coloring changed or added to your life?

Coloring changed my life by adding more love to my life and I have my grandkids coloring with me.

What advice would you give someone who isn’t confident about their coloring technique?

I would just tell them to take their time, and pick out bright colors to have the picture come alive!

What’s your favorite ColorIt book?

I don't really have a favorite book, but the one I'm working on now is Mandalas III!

What title would you like to see in the future?

I would like the next book to be just Fall pictures, it's my favorite season!

Is there anything else you want to share about your love of coloring?

I would just like to say I colored in many books, but ColorIt books are the best by far! And, I love ColorIt and I will support you all what you create! 💕

Thank you for submitting your entries. Til the next Fan of the Month! 🦋

  • Hello about a year ago whilst browsing on Amazon for glitter gel pens I came across yours. I purchased the original black case with 48 gel pens mixed finishes and a set of refills. I also managed to get a pack of 48 refills for that set. And I also got the black glitter case with 48 new all glitter colours and the refills to match. I LOVE COLORIT PENS now I’m getting very low on ink in the all glitter collection and have started the 2nd refill gor the original mixed case. The problem is I cannot get the refills or even the whole cases again because these pens are fantastic I’m rationing them. During the covid19 lockdown in the uk I am using my pens, pencils and paints a lot more. I’m on the extremely vulnerable list in England so have to stay inside the house which is ok I’m used to being inside as I’m disabled and have intestinal failure. Anyway today the 28th of April I Google search colorit and found your website which is fantastic but nothings in stock. I would love to try your watercolour brushes and psint refills thd same for your pencils. And your adult colouring books anc journal’s will also make there way into my home. Amazon do have some of your books but at very expensive costs, I will save up a little of my disability benefits to start collecting them starting with the cat’s. I have signed up to your newsletter but would like to know if and when you expect the gel pens, markers, pencils, watercolours and books to come back into stock. And most importantly do you ship/post to the UK?? Thank you for your gel pens and I do hope refill sets come back. I’m having to use other brands of gel pens which don’t have as many glitter colours abd the glitter doesn’t stay on the paper. Thank you in advance Emily
